Ronald A. Norelli

Mr. Norelli concentrates on general management, innovation and organizational change, e-business strategy, family business and corporate governance, corporate renewal, and transition management. His 30-year career in engineering, operations, technology management, business strategy and general management has included stints with Chevron, MIT, The Gillette Company and Rexham Corporation prior to founding Norelli & Company in 1981.

In addition to being a Certified Turnaround Professional, Mr. Norelli has been a featured speaker on strategic due diligence, acquisition assimilation, and e-business strategy at conferences throughout the United States sponsored by numerous well-known professional groups.

Mr. Norelli has served on several public and private company boards of directors, with offices including Chairman, Vice Chairman and Chairman of Executive, Compensation, and Audit Committees. He has served as interim CEO and COO for numerous companies, both public and private, and has often served in a consensus-building role in difficult family business situations.

He is a board member of The Family Firm Institute, a past Director and President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the National Association of Corporate Directors.

Mr. Norelli currently serves on the Board of The Pines At Davidson, is an Elder in the Presbyterian Church, and sings in his church choir. Mr. Norelli has also helped build churches on the Yucatan Peninsula and has worked on numerous Habitat for Humanity houses.

He received his BS and MS degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he played and coached varsity baseball, and his MBA from Northeastern University, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. His Masters program at MIT included a stint in a special program at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
